Flooring Installer/Finisher (Posted November 11, 2022 – Expires December 31, 2021)
We are seeking full-time hardwood and resilient flooring installers to join our team. Experience is preferred, however, we will train candidates who demonstrate the willingness to learn and succeed within our company. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package geared towards maintaining long term employees. As a nationally recognized flooring contractor, we require that our employees travel out-of-state. We will provide out-of-town compensation and benefits. We offer promotions for employees who demonstrate skill and have a positive, safe, and productive work ethic. 

Compensation:
• Competitive salary based on experience/skill (pay ranges from $10.00-$20.00+ per hour)
• 40 hours per week with occasional overtime

Requirements
• A valid state drivers license
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable, responsible, and punctual 
• Ability to pass mandatory drug screening
• Cell phone required for time card submission
• Overtime and travel are required
• Physically able to work on hands and knees as well as lift 50+ lbs
• Follow direction of job-site supervisor(s) and project manager(s)

Principle Responsibilities
• Install hardwood flooring, resilient flooring, and other materials according to project plans and specifications and/or per product guidelines
• Sand hardwood flooring surfaces using company specified sanders
• Prepare and clean hardwood flooring surfaces, substrates, etc. in preparation for applying stain, sealer, paint, and finish coats per manufacturer guidelines
• Perform substrate and material calculations and testing, including moisture testing material

Experience/Technical Skills:
• Working knowledge of industry standard tools
• Experience with hardwood flooring installation preferred, but not required
• Experience with resilient flooring installation preferred, but not required
• Experience reading plans and specifications preferred, but not required
• Experience applying industry standard stains, paints, sealers, and finishes preferred, but not required
• Experience pulling single-axle and double-axle trailers preferred, but not required
• Experience operating various types of forklifts preferred, but not required
